JAKE MATLUCK is the designer and bench jeweler behind his eponymous line, rooted in ancient goldsmithing techniques with an emphasis on hand-fabrication. Matluck’s work draws on goldsmithing traditions from ancient cultures reimagined through a modern lens. With each collection Matluck highlights fabrication techniques and materials from a different era, drawing inspiration from the past, recontextualized for the modern wearer.

Jake hand-fabricates each piece in his New York City studio using his signature 22k yellow gold alloy, natural gemstones, uncultured pearls, and antique diamonds. Emphasizing materiality, origin, and process, his work resists mass production in favor of intimate, craft-driven artistry.
