This week’s stack celebrates the ethereal beauty of cherry blossom season with five rings from Satomi Kawakita. Using organic forms and practicing wabi-sabi, these designs are at once timeless and unique, combining hand brushed gold with expertly set diamonds. A wide swath of 18k gold forms an elegant trunk, topped with three unfurling brown diamond blossoms. Stately rows of pavé diamonds are landscaped across the next band, then an undulating ring scattered with floral-set diamonds like so many spent cherry blossoms scattered on the ground.
