This week’s stack is a true masterpiece. Our canvas is well primed with Rebecca Overmann’s 0.39ct elongated hexagon solitaire, surrounded by softly textured matte finish 14k white gold. Delicate brush strokes create decorative flourishes in Megan Thorne’s two nesting bands, each exquisitely rendered from 18k gold. A pavé diamond open slice ring by WWake adds graphic order to our composition. Last but not least, our stunning subject: an Art Deco era vintage ring, featuring a central old mine cut diamond framed by sapphires, in rich cobalt blue á la Yves Klein, and perfectly placed pavé diamonds, all in an 18k white gold setting. Ah, she is a thing of beauty.
